"Return process was kinda slow"
I ordered from Hyper Drive and the item arrived totally fine, so no issues there. The return process though was kinda frustrating. I had to email back and forth a few times, and it took longer than I expected just to get clear instructions. The refund did come through in the end, so it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it all felt a bit slow and kinda annoying. I’d maybe buy from them again, but only if I was sure I wouldn’t need to return anything.

The product works fine once it arrived, so no complaints there. Delivery did take a bit longer than expected though, which is annoying. Whoever runs this should really sort out the shipping times.

"Great range and easy to browse"
I was actually surprised by how much Hyper has on their site. I only went in looking for a laptop stand, but ended up browsing bags, hubs, cables, and a few office accessories as well. Everything is laid out clearly, so comparing options was easy enough. If anything, the range can be a little tempting when you’re trying to just buy one thing, but it’s really Handy having this kind of selection in NZ without needing to check five different stores.

I ordered because the website said it was in stock, but then I was told it actually wasn’t available. I waited around without any clear updates, and when I tried to get help, I kept getting transferred around instead of getting a straight answer. Annoying overall and not a great first experience.

I ordered from Hyper once and, i’m a bit annoyed at all the other places that make this stuff feel so sketchy for no reason. With Hyper, everything just worked. The emails came through properly, the payment felt secure, and there wasn’t any weird nonsense or dodgy surprises. That’s how it should be, and other companies have no excuse. I was happy with the whole thing and I’d definitely use them again

I had an issue and tried to get it sorted, but the replies took ages and weren’t that helpful when they did come through. Kinda felt like they were more interested in ticking it off than actually fixing it. Still not too happy with how the whole thing was handled...

Ordered from hyper.co.nz and the tracking was useless. It stayed on the same status for days, and I had no clue where my parcel actually was. I ended up feeling like I had to beg for any kind of update, which made me a bit resentful because I’d already paid and just wanted basic info. The item did arrive in the end, but the whole tracking experience was annoying.

I reached out to customer service about my issue, and it just didn’t really go anywhere good. The replies felt kind of rushed, like they were not fully reading what I said, and I had to explain the same thing again more than once. In the end, it still wasn’t really fixed the way I expected. I ordered a few things from hyper.co, it felt like the moment of truth when everything arrived. Thankfully, the quality was good overall. One item did have a couple of tiny marks on it, but nothing dramatic enough to ruin the whole experience. In the end, I’m happy with what I got and wouldn’t call it a disaster by any means.

"Prices didn’t really make sense to me"
I was ready to buy from them at first, and the site seemed fine enough, but then I checked the prices and they were noticeably higher than a few other NZ stores. Maybe there’s a reason for it, I don’t know, but it just didn’t feel competitive at all. Kind of disappointing, though not the end of the world, I just ended up buying somewhere else.

Ran into an issue after buying it. Support did get back to me, but it took longer than I was hoping. Had to follow up a couple times. A little annoying. They did sort it out in the end though, so I can’t really complain too much. Not bad, just not amazing either.
